Snow at Bryce Canyon

Snow is what makes the interesting formation at Bryce. As the snow gets into the cracks and crevices and freezes, the expansion of the water breaks the rocks.  Without snow these lovely formations wouldn’t exist.   The lone Madrona tree has yet to lose its leaves.
