Lighthouses

Heceta Head Lighthouse on the Oregon Coast

This is a popular tourist stop.  You can go up into the top floor and see the giant mirrors used in the past to reflect the small flame. Like most lighthouses it has been decommissioned. GPS has eliminated the need for a lighthouse to let the ships know their position.  I exaggerated the surroundings and the sky. It is one of my most popular print and note card.
