Beach Scenes

People on the beach watching the sun go down

A ritual that my wife and I enjoy when at the coast is to be on the sea shore as the sun goes down. It is our sunset vigil.  There are usually other couples there for the same reason. I painted this with a vivid sky in anticipation of the sunset. The sea stacks are typical of the Northwest coast. Several sea stacks are called “haystack” and many have no official name.
