Trout Lake country store in Trout Lake, Washington

This store in typical of country stores all across America built in the 1940’s.  When the painting is on exhibition people tell me of many different locations for the store. The hand coming over the top of the sign is likely an inside joke about Big Foot.  Trout Lake is a prime area for picking huckleberries. The community is changing as more people are moving there to retire.  There is a very fine art show in July.  I will be exhibiting at the show, come by and say hello.
