Sand Hill Cranes in Flight

We once lived near a very large wild life refuge where thousands of birds migrated. The refuge was near the Columbia River. It was exciting to see such large numbers of migrating birds. They planted corn fields in the refuge as an attractive food for the Canada Geese. Many varieties were there at different times of the year, some stayed year around.
