I got starting in watercolors when my wife gave me a gift certificate for a half-day watercolor workshop for my sixtieth birthday. So it is never too late. Watercolors are not hard if you get off to a good start. I offer a half-day technique workshop that will show you watercolors can be fun. I am currently painting on Arches paper bonded to a stretched canvas. This keeps the paper flat without glass. I protect the surface with a museum quality spray varnish. Therefore the art can be enjoyed without glass.
